Hi there, everyone!

Hey there world, how're you doing? My name's Christopher Fidel, but you can call me Chris for short. Umm, honestly, I really have no idea what I should talk about in my first post! XD

Anyway, I thought I'd make this blog to share with all you guys, my day to day experiences of being a teenage Catholic. As you all know, these days, it's hard being a religious person. People tend to ignore or not care about religion, and what saddens me is that more and more young people consider religion 'outdated' and 'useless' in today's modern life. Going to Sunday Mass soon becomes a chore, anyone hardly reads the bible, and people couldn't care less about God. It's also terrible how religious morals and values are thrown away as obsolete garbage. Premarital sex and teen pregnancies and abortions have literally become part of Western culture. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. Adolescent issues are nowhere near as grave as the destruction caused by wars, famine, and natural disasters...

Is this the kind of world that we want to live in? Not me. I pray that Christ, through His Church, and through other Divine means help us heal this wounded world. Let us all, as Catholics, pray together, in communion with the saints, for all of us who live on this earth. May we all strive to create a much better society, where we can all live together as a big family, as equals: with no racial, cultural or religious barriers to set us apart. I dream of a world with no violence, with no evil, and with the One and Only God as our Father.

More posts to come... ;D
